" FOREST WITCH" COMING SOON...

...I love it when the contour starts to take it's shape! The back contour really gives character to Andy's guitar.

Not to say that this feature makes the guitar bearable after hours of playing a concert or shooting a video for hours on end!

This guitar even though it is radical still has comfort built in it's contours!!!!!....

Back to sanding and filing the body contour! For me doing these things by hand is so much fun, but also how the OG's did it back in the day!!

Continuing to work on the body contour for Andy's guitar! All I need is a 4 in one file, a flat sanding block, and some 150 grit sandpaper!! But I have to tell you guys the reason the contour is so awesome....the templates I made, keep my work on track....the pencil control lines keep me from sanding to much and make the contour perfect!!!!!!!

The contour is about half done, I will stop here for today, because I wanted you guys to see what the contour looks like at this stage. I'll finish tomorrow. I know I've said quite a bit. There are truly tons of things to consider in creating and crafting a guitar that is a cut above..... the thousands of guitars that are puked out of sweat shop factories from the Philippines to China........and the high end factories........where numbers, and production rules the day, and money lines their executive's pockets and bank accounts!!!!!!!!!!!

I just think that's a sinful thing, seeing just how beautiful music is, and how a carefully crafted instrument can set you free with pure tones from Heaven, or................. take you into the most distorted, frightening metal storm!!!!! Guitars are incredible tools in the hands of a masterful musician, ( like Andy Rooney ) when that musician is connected with the perfect guitar....you get a perfect storm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel sorry for les paul players cause the square edge cuts into a players chest after a hour or less of playing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
